My son is 9 weeks old and has cried before he pees since birth, it starts 1 min b4 he pees. it's not a uti and he's on amoxicillin but it's not working. he's had an ultrasound & they didn't see a problem?

Significant symptom: Using an antibiotic for this seems inappropriate if there is no evidence for a urinary infection. Such an infection would require extensive investigation beyond an ultrasound, as does this finding. Perhaps you should consult a pediatric urologist.

Meatal stenosis: It is possible he has a small closure at the tip of his penis making it difficult for him to urinate without pain.
