When sleeping i sometimes stop breathing and i'm woken out of my sleep... is this a problem? it's happening more often.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could Be A Problem: You describe symptoms of sleep apnea. Unfortunately this is not a condition that can be diagnosed via healthtap. But there is help. First contact your primary care physician (pcp) and discuss the problem. He/she may refer you to a sleep specialist who may order a sleep study to determine if sleep apnea is present. Your pcp will also consider other possible causes of your symptoms. Don't delay.
