Symptomatic see DR.: Iliac vein compression syndrome (ivcs) characterized by left common iliac vein compression by right common iliac artery against fifth lumbar vertebra.Mean age is 40 years with female predominance.Left sided compression 3 to 8x more common. Patients typically present with acute edema of the lower limb, (surgery , immobilization, travel)asymptomatic cases occur in 15–30% of the population.Dvt possible.
