What is usage and dosage ampiclox?

Antibiotic: Ampiclox, or Ampicillin as it is known in the us, is given in doses of 250-500 mg qid (four times a day). It is also the main drug in unasyn, (ampicillin and sulbactam) where it is combined with sulbactam which makes it more effective. Unasyn (ampicillin and sulbactam) is an IV medicine only. The drug can be used against a wide range of infections, including pneumonia, kidney infections, and meningitis.
