What is the drug ampiclox for?

Antibiotic: Ampiclox is a combination of Ampicillin and cloxacillin. The second drug is used for staph infections that don't respond to regular penicillins while the Ampicillin can work in certain infections like e coli (but not a routine drug for this). As well as some urinary tract infections.
