? : I don't understand. If it is still swollen after 17 hours that can be normal. But, it is progressively and significantly swelling, i would go to your er. Make a paste of 2 parts baking soda & 1 part water & apply. Or: apply an enzyme based meat tenderizer in a poultice & wrap area.
