Scientific Rx: All acne can be managed scientifically. If topical benzoyl peroxide has not cleared things up after two weeks, it's time for a physician office visit. Topical Clindamycin and/or a topical retinoic acid derivative are likely to be next; systemic rx such as tetracycline 500 2x/day may be required. For tough cases, a dermatology consult is in order. Good luck.
