Panic: Self-talk (what if), relaxation, breathing exercises, meditation, imagery. Keep in mind that panic attacks do not kill anybody.

Breathing Apps: There are free smartphone apps developed by us dept of defense's "national center for telehealth & technology" designed to help you learn to breathe from your diaphragm, which can trigger a relaxation response. #1) "tactical breather" (http://bit.Ly/15zcvym); #2) "breathe2relax" (http://bit.Ly/15zdyku). Also consider refresher course on how anxiety works: (e.g., http://www.Anxietybc.Org).
