How can you treat eye flu naturally?

With tears: Artificial tears can wash way the flu virus. Other than tamiflu, (oseltamivir) we don't have many specific treatments for the flu virus. For adenovirus, a drop of betadine can help eradicate the virus and lead to a more rapid resolution of the infection with a diminished chance of corneal scarring if caught early.

Tea bags: Damp tea bags of flower teas like chamomile, and even black tea bags, can treat the surface of the eyes naturally and with little risk. Avoid plain water, but rather, use saline or eye wash to rinse your eyes, wash your hands frequently, because the same type of virus that causes flu-like symptoms also causes epidemic keratoconjunctivitis (ekc), a highly contagious form of pink eye.
