Usually: Upto 2 drinks a day for men, and one for women are considered ok, but this might not apply to everyone. This amount might not be safe in more advanced ckd. And this is for store liquor; moonshine on the other hand has lead and is notorious for causing kidney disease (lead nephropathy).
