Normal results of blood tests for kidney & liver function as well as a normal urinalysis with microscopic examination of the sediment will be sufficient to rule out significant liver or kidney pathology. I gather you're concerned about your alcohol intake & possible abuse. Don't hesitate to consult a substance abuse health professional for guidance.

The best way to determine this is to have a history and physical with your primary care doctor and to have blood work evaluation, which can measure liver and kidney function very well. If there are any abnormalities, your doctor can delve into those even more deeply. If you check out all right, then drink in moderation. Good luck.
