Hard to say: CP is a label that can be applied to any disorder of movement and posture related to a brain injury occuring before the age of 3. It can affect someone so mildly that they are never labeled or so much that they are wheelchair bound.With such a broad range of impact, no simple statement about it's effect on performance in sports is realistic. The mild ones do better than the severe.
