Most don't, some do!: If you have food/fluids in your gut, while exercising, blood flow is directed to muscle, and the gut cannot digest or absorb food normally! (this is why if you are dehydrated, you can't catch up with fluids, since your absorption rate is so slow!) afterwards, the remaining contents of your stomach can be expelled!
