Aortic aneurysm: If the aneurysm is not large and if the pulse pressure in the vessel is kept controlled, the aneurysm can possibly be stable for many years.

Variable: Location size risk factors- hypertension . Abdominal follow annual ultrasounds. If good risk patient and 5 cm in size have the discussion about intervention/ surgery. If painful, expanding regular get fixed. Over 5.5 and no major life threatening issues most will fix on size alone.
