Improve mental funct: Caffeine has been shown to improve mental function. It is not necessary without its side affects. It can increase your blood pressure, heart rate, breathing rate, make you jittery and nervous. So it should be taken in moderation. Caffeine also has a slight addiction rate and you can experience migraines/headaches as withdrawl symptoms.
