A member asked:

Anyone know what is a tenkoff catheter and why is it used related to kidney disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tenkoff catheter: Tenkoff catheters (t) are placed in the peritoneal cavity (pc) in patients with renal failure that want to be on peritoneal dialysis. The (t) is the tube that clean peritoneal dialysate is infused into and removed from the pc.
