Subchorionic bleed.: A subchorionic hematoma may be seen in a large proportion of pregnancies during prenatal sonograms, most of which result in normal outcomes. An increased risk of fetal loss, small baby, preterm labor and preeclampsia exists though and an evaluation by a maternal-fetal medicine specialist may help answer your questions and assure the optimal perinatal outcome.
