How long is it supposed to it take for acne to clear up?

May be decades: The good news is that it is manageable with 21st century medications, and it's your right if you are an adult, your duty to a young person for whom you are responsible. I was able to stop taking systemic tetracycline when i was about 50. Any physician is able to offer effective treatment.
