Depends: If you have severe associated stenosis (pinched nerves) with the spinal subluxations-misalignments, then i would avoid chiropractic manipulations. However, a good chiropractor would obtain this history from you and avoid manipulations and focus on other treatments instead.

After chiropractic adjustment, lumbar is loose and pops by itself. Undergoing spinal decompression w/ the same effect. Why? Lumbar now feels fragile.
