Communicate: I don't know the context of losing the relationship. Were you inattentive to someone you care about? Were you harmful in words or behaviors? I suggest that you talk to the person that you care about and explain the situation. Asking for forgiveness can go a long way. And if the other person has awareness of your depression they may be more open to forgiving. Self forgiveness is also important.
