Depends: Usually during second trimester when the weight of the fetus starts pressing on the veins in the pelvis. As a result of effects of hormones during pregnancy the circulation in the veins slow down and hence may result in hemorrhoidal engorgement earlier. It is similar to varicose veins which are also common during pregnancy.
