Varies: Surprisingly, some patients eat whatever they want after having wisdom teeth removed. I generally recommend starting with a soft diet and advancing as tolerated to your normal diet. If you are not eating, you should drink plenty of fluids. If your mouth is numb, you should avoid hot liquids and food as they could cause some thermal irritation.
