With caution: Paxil (paroxetine) may increase the bp-lowering effect of inderal; so a person on both should be monitored for hypotension (dizziness, feeling faint), slow heart rate, ekg changes. Discuss this issue with the prescribing doc to determine if there are viable alternatives to either drug that won't cause this interaction.

Ask your doctor: Generally both medications are safe to take together, but it depends on many factors such as your general healthy, how quickly you metabolize both medications, any other medications [prescribed or over the counter] your are taking, and the reasons you are taking the medications. It's best to ask your physician whether there are problems taking both medications.
