New technology: Depending on how and when the blood clot formed, newer technologies (suction aspirators and stentreiver devices) allow endovascular neurosurgeons to enter the brain arteries and remove the clots. Generally speaking, the earlier the better and most artery territories are best treated before t6 hours.
