Half completed root : That depends on how long its been sitting uncompleted. If its been months to years, than it can have more decay that may have destroyed more of the tooth and the gums can get in the tooth & can swell and be painful. It can also reinfect the nerve. You should definitely get it check asap and treated by your dentist.
