Do i have to stop smoking weed before getting the lapband surgery?

Seriously, YES: Besides the obvious answer that long term marijuana use can be harmful, more importantly you are going to have general anesthesia. General anesthesia has profound effects on the body and all the anesthesiologists i know would cancel your surgery if you were still smoking "weed" as would i. Adding another dangerous drug to the mix of medications given during anesthesia is just plain silly.
