Anytime: Extreme stress can affect your menstrual period at any time; it makes your cycle unpredictable. Extreme exercise and weight loss can do this also. At 43, you might even be having irregular cycles because of being perimenopausal. Discussing your concerns with your own doctor may provide better insight about your personal situation.
