What happens when henle is shortened, to the extent that they could not reach the medullary region of the kidney?

Question unclear: Loop of henle is part of an individual nephron (1 immion/kidney) & situated between glomerulus (mini filter) in kidney cortex & collecting duct in kidney medulla. Nephron cells would form into a cyst if obstructed or perhaps as u say "could not reach medullary region".
