What are the causes of yellow fever?

Yellow fever: Yellow fever is an infection of the liver caused by a virus transmitted by the bite of a mosquito. It's characterized by fever, yellowish discoloration of the skin and eyes, and hemorrhages. It is common in tropical areas.

Virus: Yellow fever is found in some areas of south america ; sub saharan africa. It is a virus transmitted by mosquito bites. Sxs usually begin 3 to 6 days after a bite. Many people have active sxs for 3 to 4 days such as fever, vomiting, jaundice, v appetite, headaches ; body aches. However others go on to develop multi- organ failure which can lead to death.
