The one that works: Which may be diffent for each individual. It would also depend on what body part the attack too place in. Antiinflammatories or oral steroids are sometimes used, injections if pain is severe, Colchicine now Colcrys used as a treatment as well.

Gout: There are medications specific for gout to reduce the attack then usually placed on another med to control uric acid. See a podiatrist.
