Communal housing: Assitive living facility(alf) is a place where people have their own apartments, but there is commnunal dining and staff(including rns) that can assist with medical care(meds) and supervise general care. It is generally paid for privately and any additional services(besides room and board) are extra expenses(med delivery, assitance with bathing, etc). One can hire their own private aide as well.
