Watch saturated fat: Cholesterol content in foods is not as important as saturated and trans fats. These are found in meat, diary, processed and fast foods. Everyone knows about red meat, but bad fats are hidden in cheese and pizza, fast food burgers, fried chicken and fries. Ice cream, puddings, and cookie and cake mixes are also bad. Replace with unsaturated vegetable oils, veggies, fish, soy, nuts and fruit.
