Sometimes i freak out and my heart starts racing. how do i test for asthma or how do i know i might have it?

Doctor exam: Good history and physical will suggest the condition with some degree of certainty. Then spirometry and peak flow studies. Usually done before a bronchodilator and after. If normal studies a methacholine challenge test. Methacholine will trigger a reactive airway disease.
