Not ideal: Doxazosin and Flomax (tamsulosin) are in the same class of drug, known as Alpha blockers. They would not usually be prescribed together, because this could increase the risk of low blood pressure and symptoms such as dizziness. Finasteride is in a different class of drug (which affects testosterone metabolism) and can be taken together with either doxazosin or tamsulosin.
