Drinking/Urinating: The more common signs of diabetes tends to include increased thirst with frequent drinking and frequent urination. There is a genetic predisposition for diabetes and there is a higher risk in those who are overweight. Some may also complain of weight loss. I would recommend seeing your doctor if you are concerned to be tested. It's a quick thing to diagnose that you don't want to leave untreated.
