Time: Most cold are viruses. If you treat a cold it gets better in 14 days. If you don't it takes 2 weeks. (no difference).

The time to get in touch with your doctor is if you develop a fever of 100.4 F or more for 24+ hrs, have shortness of breath or trouble breathing, or sinus pain
