BV: Bacterial vaginosis or BV usually causes an abnormally strong odor that is accentuated by menstrual blood or seminal fluid. It also manifests as a whitish, yellowish homogenous discharge. If you do not have these signs and symptoms you probably are free of the condition. There is also a test that can be done in a doctor's office.
