Probably not: Some small studies have failed to demonstrate a reliable cholesterol lowering effect w supplement garlic (marketed to achieve this). Remember supplements are licensed by the fda as "food". They have to demonstrate as safe to ingest, but they are not held up to the pharmaceutical standard of proving that by work. Anecdotal testimonials are used to promote, but they are at least safe to try.
