First get your your doc check your ears & have your hearing checked as you may already have hearing loss. Then get a good set of professionally made ear plugs. On top of this use noise cancelling hearing muffs to add another layer of protection. With all these stems you can cut 120dB machinery sound down to a 40dB level that should not aggravate your problem.
