How long does the reddish color last? If it is only lasting minutes after a shower or cleaning, it is likely a normal skin response to these actions, assuming there is no more pus. If the redness is lasting longer, like hours, then it should be looked at by your doctor to be certain there is not a recurrent infection from the tube. Good luck to you!
