A member asked:

Theres a supplement called d-bal max i am interested in taking but it says it reduces serotonin levels to reduce fatigue. i think this may be do to the bcaas in the product but i could be wrong . anyways would it still be ok to take my ssri if on it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Since the FDA doesn't investigate supplements, physicians are reluctant to endorse their use for concern about the presence of contaminants that can interact with other meds or cause harm themselves. Also doses are confusing and claims of efficacy are not validated. Your pharmacist may furnish some information about this supplement.
