I think it depends on your degree of immunosuppression. You can likely be around your friend without touching him and if you happen to touch him, wash your hands right away. But, if your immunosuppression is severe, you may need to wear a mask, stay a certain distance away from him and not touch him. You should ask your doctor for advice since your doctor knows your degree of immunosuppression.
