Brown discharge typically means you are passing old blood. You should be checked by your obstetrician to be certain the pregnancy is still doing ok. So, see your OB/GYN doctor as soon as possible. Good luck to you!

Consult you OB physician , who may prescribe progesterone, as your "spotting, clotting" may indicate inadequate progesterone produced by the growing placenta. A serum HCG level may also be relevant.
