Is it okay to drink ensure the day before a colonoscopy?

Probably you have written instructions about what you can and cannot eat and drink in the 1-2 days or so before the procedure. Usually only clear liquids are permitted, which does not include Ensure (unless they have a clear product that I don't know). Follow your instructions carefully: you do not want to get half way through a colonoscopy that cannot be completed and must be done again!

Avoid any Ensure that is dark in color, especially blueberry.
