Plan B can cause some uterine cramping but it should be mild. If it becomes severe, contact your gynecologist for instructions & advice. If you started ovulating when you took plan B it wouldn't be effective.

If you miss a period, take a home pregnancy test using morning urine to see if a pregnancy has occurred. Any time sperm gets into the vagina, pregnancy is possible. Plan B decreases that risk but pregnancy is still possible. See your doctor if you are uncertain about the home pregnancy test results or if it is positive. Your doctor can also help with birth control methods. Good luck!
