This is a borderline positive result. Most such results are false; probably you do not have HSV2. If you have had symptoms of a new genital herpes infection, it could be a new infection. In that case, repeat test should be more strongly positive. Repeat the same test; if not clearly negative or more strongly positive, you likely will need a confirmatory test, ideally Western blot.
