It is hard to predict exactly when everything will clear out but it is not a problem. You don't want to rush the process as that could disrupt the healing and cause additional bleeding. Monsel's solution or paste is commonly used to stop bleeding from colposcopic biopsies. Blood causes it to harden and blacken, producing the "rubber like" chunks you are seeing.
