Im 37 weeks 4 days i lost my mucus plug 2 days ago and i have been dilated 3cm since last tuesday. why is my body still not going into labor or progressing?

Unless your bag of waters has ruptured this can still be your body is preparing for delivery. If ruptured, go to the hospital now. Membranes intact=you can still have 2-3 weeks to go before labor starts in earnest. Please discuss any questions with the delivery team.
