You may well have a UTI rather than urethral irritation/inflammation. A clean catch urine culture & colony count is needed to document an UTI. Results take 48 hours but often we'll start treatment empirically on young women while the culture is cooking. Depending upon results we can continue,stop or change treatment when results are back.

Those are very common symptoms of a female with a UTI. Best to see a doctor as soon as possible and get treated. Also drink plenty of fluid.
