I wouldn't rush to consult a physician or neurologist at this time in the absence of widespread muscle twitching or other neurological symptoms. An irritable superficial nerve may be the cause. Excess caffeine or alcohol&calcium or potassium deficiency are common causes. Stress & fatigue are other causes. If these don't pertain to you and twitching persists, I recommend consulting a neurologist
